Privacy Statement AVG‑GDPR

European privacy law has been in force since 25 May 2018. We continue to handle personal data with care and want to inform you transparently. Our privacy statement complies with GDPR.

If you choose to voluntarily share information with us, we will use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. HiNurse/HiPersonnel believes the privacy of candidates, professionals, employees, other relations and visitors is essential. Personal data are handled and protected with the greatest possible care, in line with GDPR.

Who is HiNurse/HiPersonnel?

HiNurse/HiPersonnel is located in Beek, The Netherlands, and is responsible for personal data processing (controller within the meaning of GDPR).

Technical information and cookies

In general, you can visit our website without providing personal data. Like many websites, we can automatically log certain information such as your IP address, your ISP’s IP, date and time of access, the referring website address, your operating system, pages visited, information viewed, device type, your geolocation, and material you submit or download.

This technical information is used to manage and improve the website and systems. These data may be shared with third parties and stored for future use.

HiNurse/HiPersonnel may use cookies and web statistics to understand how visitors use the site. This helps us improve it. A cookie is a file stored on your computer and can be recognized on a follow‑up visit. More information is available in our Cookie Statement.

When do we collect your personal data?

We collect data from the moment you enter or leave your data on our website, register in another way, or contact us to use our services.

We may also collect information you made public in public sources if it indicates interest in work‑related services. In that case, we will approach you in line with our conditions and this Privacy Policy. If you are not interested, we may process relevant data to avoid approaching you again.

Why do we collect your personal data?

We process your data to perform our HR services, including mediation, secondment, recruitment & selection, advisory services, personal development, employability and personnel management.

  • to make offers and/or provide information about services and activities and better align them with your wishes and qualities (partly automated, e.g., vacancy alerts);
  • to approach you with commercial offers, newsletters and promotions, only if you have opted in;
  • to assess your suitability and availability for permanent or temporary work or assignments, including tests, reference checks and social media (where relevant);
  • to enter into and maintain an employment or mediation relationship and carry out related administration;
  • to meet reintegration obligations and help people with a larger distance to the labour market;
  • to record assignments with clients and execute the agreement;
  • to process data for pre‑employment screening/assessment or coaching;
  • to promote your personal development and employability, including training, education and testing;
  • for management purposes such as management information, internal controls, operational safety, audits and auditing;
  • for quality objectives such as certification;
  • to apply for subsidies, premium discounts and similar;
  • to comply with laws and regulations, including identification, labour law, tax and social security legislation, fraud prevention and sanctions legislation.

What personal data do we process?

We process the personal data necessary for our services. Part of this information is required to use our services; additional data may be useful to tailor services to your needs. You are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the information you provide.

At registration this includes at least:

  • Name, email address and phone number;
  • curriculum vitae (CV), information about training, internships and work experience.

Special categories of personal data

HiNurse/HiPersonnel only records special personal data when necessary to meet legal obligations, with your consent, or when otherwise permitted by law. Special personal data includes data on race, religion or belief, political opinion, health, sexual life, trade union membership, criminal data and/or personal data about unlawful or obstructive behaviour.

With whom can we share your personal data? (candidates, professionals, self‑employed)

HiNurse/HiPersonnel may share your data with clients, subcontractors (processors), suppliers, government bodies and other business relations, or where required by law or court order.

Disclosure is based on legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or to perform an agreement.

Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. HiNurse/HiPersonnel has taken measures to ensure adequate protection.

How long do we keep your personal data?

Retention periods depend on statutory requirements.

Candidates (if you have not worked for HiNurse/HiPersonnel yet): your personal data (e.g., name, CV, work experience, training, test results) are available up to 1 year after the last contact where you gave permission for storage and processing. After eleven (11) months you will receive a message asking for consent to keep your data for another twelve (12) months.

If you no longer want to use our services, you can unsubscribe via info@HiPersonnel.eu or +31 (0) 85 081 2009. You will no longer be approached and your data will be permanently deleted after one calendar month.

You are also entitled to inspect and change your personal data. You can contact your HiNurse/HiPersonnel contact person.

If you work or have worked for HiNurse/HiPersonnel, your data are kept up to seven years after the end of employment due to legal obligations. This may change in the future.

If you are not satisfied after consultation, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Personal data of business relationships

HiNurse/HiPersonnel processes personal data of people who work for companies with whom we do business in order to: provide offers/information, maintain the relationship, and conclude and maintain assignments.

  • Contact names, contact details and positions.

Disclosure to third parties

HiNurse/HiPersonnel may share personal data from business relations if necessary for the relationship or mediation. This information may be shared with partners, candidates, business partners and processors, and in other cases where required by law.

Personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. HiNurse/HiPersonnel has taken measures to ensure adequate protection.

Your rights

Access and/or change of data: candidates, professionals, freelancers and business relations can inspect, change or delete their data via info@HiPersonnel.eu or +31 (0) 85 081 2009.

Other relations: you have the right to inspect and change your personal data. Contact your HiNurse/HiPersonnel contact person.

Security

HiNurse/HiPersonnel takes physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized use. Only authorized persons have access. Processors are contractually required to protect personal data as well.

Questions, comments, complaints, or (suspected) data breach

If you have questions or complaints about the protection of your personal data, contact us via info@HiPersonnel.eu or in writing to Vroenhofstraat 13, 6191 HD Beek, The Netherlands.

Please report any (suspected) data breach immediately via info@HiPersonnel.eu and include your name, contact details and a description of the situation.

Amendments

HiNurse/HiPersonnel may update this Privacy Policy. The most recent version is always available on our website.
